Chase Tag Is A Game Sport Or A Form Of Enjoyment

Chase Tag is generally known as a game that children can play outdoors, but who knew it would be a Sport? World Chase day was founded in 2012 by the Devaux brothers, Christian and Damien. this was inspired by their daytime games in the Yard. But is it really a Sport or just a form of enjoyment like a group of schoolchildren joking on a playground?

Rule

The goal of the game is quite simple, in the sense that, like in a normal Tag game, you have to chase your opponent and mark his body. However, as it is played on an obstacle course, things are a little different.

Each team consists of six members and only two teams can compete.

Each game consists of 16 chases and whoever wins the most chases wins the game.

The labels must only be made by hand.

So, you could say that yes, it is a Sport because it has a competitive global Tag organization and the athletes make money from it.

But how popular is it, especially around the world?

Well, according to Sports Pro Media, they have 912,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel, which suggests that it is becoming more and more popular because some of its videos are getting millions of views due to the network of Parkour teams attracted to viewing. Channel 4 has also started broadcasting some of the events

Although it is relatively young in its existence as a sport, Chase Tag is certainly something to invest in, especially for the future.
