ST. LOUIS, MO–
“Whoa.”
That’s all you could have said if you saw the score of the St. Rams game.Louis-Denver Broncos Sunday. Not only did the Rams have to pull off a fascinating win against one of the best teams in the league, it wasn’t the first time they did it.
Yes, St. Louis may have a 4-6 record so far this season, but three of those four wins didn’t come easily.
With victories against three of the four teams that played the Conference Championship games last season (49ers, Seahawks and now the Broncos), the Rams prove that they are peril
Even with Shaun Hill and Austin Davis directing the show.
The Rams are still alive in the playoff race, believe it or not. Although it’s highly unlikely that the Rams will win their division (almost impossible), there’s plenty of life left for a wild card boost at the end of the season.
With the things that remain unstable in San Francisco and inconsistent in Seattle, if the Rams can play the way they did against the Broncos against the rest of the NFL-with a backup and third-line quarterback, remember-then there are plenty of reasons to be scared.
In their next games, St. Louis will compete against Chargers, Raiders, Redskins, Cardinals, Giants and finish the season in Seattle against the Seahawks.
In terms of winnable games that should be a lock, Raiders, Redskins and Giants are definitely winnable games for this hot Rams team. Games They have a decent chance, maybe 50/50, to get through next week in San Diego and in December. 11 against the Cardinals in a home game for the Rams.
If you win these games, you will have at least eleven wins what what!?
In a difficult NFC West division, it looks like you need eleven wins to be considered the sixth joker.
At the time when they are needed the most, the Rams defense illuminated Peyton Manning & Co. it seemed to be in a replica state and didn’t really seem to have a clue what was going on.
